Never thought I'd say this but I'm actually quite enjoying the modules I'm doing this semester.
Don't think I can say the same for the semesters to come though :/
Been given assignments for every class I've taken so far already.
I want to do them, but I've no idea how to get started.
Everything's so.. open-ended.
There's no definitive way of doing things, no specific guidelines or anything.
Without them I feel like I have nothing to keep me on track.
Hmm.

Oh and I have no classes on fridays!
So with 3-day weekends to work with, I think I'm going to try and get as much done as possible.
The thing is, I have a feeling these assignments can't be rushed, in order for me to be most productive/creative.
I'm really afraid that I can't keep up with all this work if I can't come up with ideas so quickly.

Oh joy, already gave my lecturer a bad first impression.
On top of that, she seems to repeatedly make a point to remind/warn us how difficult this course actually is, and how much is expected from us if we expect to do well.
I quote, "It's not easy to fail in this course, provided that you turn up for all the classes, but it's not easy scoring perfect 4s for your GPA either."
But, there's ups and downs I guess.
It'll be interesting learning about visual art/photography this semester, I hope.
I'm genuinely afraid I lack the creativity to be consistent enough for this course.
Sigh.

I think about my future quite often these days.
It worries me how everyone else is more or less safe in terms of getting job placements or getting exposed to different career opportunities and whatnot in their futures.
Me, what do I have? No idea, that's what.
Maybe I'm thinking too much, maybe I'm not thinking enough.
Sigh.

Furthermore, there's really no one I can rely on right now.
I'm sad it turned out this way.
I'm always around, but it seems nobody else ever is.
I can already feel all of us slowly drifting apart.
It's strange, I pictured this so-called "future" to be so different than it turned out to be.
No one's close to each other anymore and keeping in touch is such a hassle.
No one's replying texts or anything.
No one bothers that this can actually hurt people.
Again, sigh.

Had orientation the past couple days. Didn't really turn out the way I expected it to. Probably because of the people mainly. I don't want to ramble on about why I don't like them or anything, if you knew me at all you probably know that I'm not the most sociable person around. So with that in mind, being put with certain groups of people didn't help much.

Skipped the 2nd day and missed out on some apparently important information. So now I'm kinda in the dark. But at least I'm not alone, a handful of other people in my course didn't show up on the 2nd day either. 3rd day wasn't so bad I guess. The skits were quite hilarious. Tiring but overall worth it :/

So from what I gathered, part of our upcoming assignment(s) is to visit the Andy Warhol exhibition in singapore which I'm really quite excited about (: plus its subsidized! And I heard that this year's curriculum covers quite a bit on photography/digital art so I'm looking forward to that as well (:

Ughh gotta get everything sorted out and shit. Hate being a mess.
