So I just found out that people going to JC don't have to pay the full adult fare for travelling.

Really? Are you kidding me?

Well so much for anti-discrimination policies, equality, and whatnot.
This is complete and utter bullshit.

Why, is it because you (MOE/LTA/whoever) feel that JC students are more valuable?
Their education matters more and hence they can be discounted on their transportation fees?

Yes, that seems completely logical to me.

Yes, we should all publicise our achievements and express our glee all over the web,
and be completely ignorant towards any feelings of anyone unfortunate enough to end up someplace else.
Yes, let's do that.
Let's be selfish, boastful, and proud, shall we?

Has it not occurred to some of you that people actually fight for a spot you've taken?
Couldn't spare a thought for what they could be going through as of this moment?
Too caught up with your elation perhaps?
I could go on ranting about this all night.

I'm disappointed, really.

Pardon my narrow-minded-ness, I just can't bear with all this shit.
I'm beginning to understand and feel what some of you are going through right now.
And it pains me that society in general are like this.
We are a disgrace.

I literally cannot express my frustration with words.
I have so much hate for people who express themselves so openly and it's really getting on my fucking nerves.
All this publicity is just... unnecessary.
Sigh.

Everybody is literally going everywhere.
Not gonna be seeing anyone for some time now.
I honestly can't be bothered.
Feel that some people should take heed of this saying though; that

"The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences,
and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon,
for each day to have a new and different sun."

In retrospect, by leaving our little 'friend circles' or 'cliques',
we are open to new experiences.
By doing so, we are indirectly or subconsciously living to a greater extent.
Embracing the new, something I'm not sure I'm ready to do yet but feel it's worth a shot.

Then again, it's not like I have much of a choice right?

Okay so things have been starting to get really weird lately.
Some guy I've never met before started talking to me on twitter,
and apparently we're future coursemates in NYP.
Like this whole predicament couldn't get any worse.
