I don't think anyone will ever understand the emotional attachment I have with this short-film.
Along with the stunning music that accompanies it, of course.
"Remember, that this life is just an illusion...
If only I could move in and out of nonexistence, to the space between places.
Space."
Even I myself don't understand why I'm so drawn towards this, so moved by it.
Idk, Sigur Ros' mystery films tend to have that effect on me.
Their music too, of course.
I personally felt Varuo was one of their better works off Valtari,
in comparison with their previous pieces too, for that matter.
Surprisingly, Leaning Towards Solace kind of inspires me to create/direct/produce my very own short-film.
I'm unusually observant towards the cinematography and filmmaking + editing techniques they might have used to make this possible.
More so because of this being a Sigur Ros mystery film, but mainly due to the fact that I've studied films for an entire semester and have been tasked to produce so many videos (for assignments) that employ these techniques.
Ah well, when I have the time I suppose.
In other news, life has been hectic as hell lately.
There's literally no time for anything.
Oh and I'm 18 too, yay for that.
