Prelims are finally over.
Yes, I'm in clb now.
Because of that, my prelims were actually prolonged.
Thanks a lot, I hadn't even gone for one class yet.
And I had to take the stupid paper.
In addition, I had to take listening compre and oral too.
On the same day.
Hello? I only just signed up on monday!
Don't even know the formats or structure of the exam or anything.
So yeah, I'm gonna fail clb, but who cares.
Its not even a subject anymore.
Don't need it to get into poly.
And in case you're wondering, my chinese O level results were Unbelievable.
Get it? U? For Unbelievable? As in Ungraded?
Well whatever, it was funnier at the time.
Not even an F9.
The fact they even bothered to return the result slip to me says something.
Haven't a clue when school starts and whatnot.
Teachers' day is on 1st sept, that's about all I know.
But anyway, I'm not expecting much from my prelims results.
If my L1R5 gets any less than 40 points, I will treat anyone who asks to an entire meal at any fast-food outlet or something.
Because in all honesty, I did not study for the papers.
At least not as much as I did for mid-years.
Most of my preparation for prelims consisted of last minute revision.
And by last minute I mean going to school every morning at an ungodly hour (6.30am) to cram facts into my head before going for the papers.
Even my strongest subjects, maths and science, had its faults.
For instance, Ian heard from Cynthia Tan that our maths papers were done badly.
Plus, the physics paper was quite difficult, left like 4 or 5 questions blank.
(Forgot to bring my protractor that day too, which is why I couldn't do 1 or 2 questions)
Along with about 7 or 8 other people, I had 20 minutes taken off my chem paper for skipping assembly on that day. Quite a funny story actually.
But I still managed to finish my chem paper.
And if I may say so, that's probably the only component in any of the papers I'm truly confident of.
But then again, seeing that almost everybody got serious about chem (and everything else for that matter), I'll probably do worse than them or, at the most, fare just as well as they do.
Sigh. Better mentally prepare myself for all the scoldings and lectures by parents and teachers in the next few days.
7 weeks left to O's.
