well, i suppose it's time for yet another routinely update on my GPA then.
so, i kinda dropped to a meager 3.09 this semester. ha
not surprised at all.
can't say i expected more, really.
but wow, a 0.3 drop.
haha, still letting that sink in.

but really tbh, my initial reaction was just: haha, fuck
i really honestly couldn't be arsed anymore.
had that mindset ever since year 2 sem 1 commenced.

yup, that's about it then.

There’s still so much I don’t know, and that really bothers me.
I don’t say I’m “only” 18.
Instead, I would say I’m “already” 18.

I am legitimately quivering with excitement right now.
The one e-mail that completely made my day.
I'm just praying so hard that last-minute cockups (ie, miscommunication) won't happen again.
Please please please, Midas Promotions, PLEASE be good to me.
I am begging you.
For once, I just want things to run smoothly.

So, after many desperate attempts to acquire a photo pass to shoot Suede,
I have finally managed to successfully get my hands on one!
Well, figuratively speaking at least - I don't actually have physical proof of that (yet) (I hope).

(Oh by the way, little band trivia/history for you - Suede has been credited as one of the FOUNDERS OF THE BRITPOP SCENE IN THE UK, just so you know. I mean, no big deal right?)
But seriously though, literally O M G - just being given the opportunity to photograph one of the most ICONIC BRITPOP BANDS IN HISTORY (next to the classics like Blur, of course) - I can't even begin to describe how honoured this makes me feel...

Furthermore, not only was I just given any photo pass from some random publication/promoter, I actually went as far as to message the band through Facebook to request for it (in addition to mass e-mailing promoters and publications too, obviously).
At first I merely stated my keen interest, and asked them if there was an e-mail through which I could formally send in my request.
They then replied, to my utter surprise, two days later, with the e-mail of the ACTUAL BAND'S MANAGEMENT, wishing me all the best.
So naturally, I immediately took to sending them said request.
Three paragraphs (possibly more? I can't remember) worth of persuading certainly did pay off, as the band's management replied to my e-mail today, providing me with a photo pass for the show!

Therefore, once again, I beg the mercy of the cosmos, please let this happen without any slip ups.
